Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur (Rewari),Vice Chancellor Mahender Kumar has been honored with Indira Gandhi Success Award for his owing services in the ground of Education.Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda honored him in Indira Gandhi Success Award Function organized to mark the birth anniversary of past Prime Minister Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur (Rewari),at Delhi on Wednesday. Mahender Kumar is a retired IAS of 1992 batch of Haryana Unit who has reduced about 32 years of service on different posts with an outstanding piece record.
The Governor of Haryana has given him with Gold Medal and Merit Certificate for the outstanding impact to the prosperity activities started through Council for Child Welfare, Haryana. Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur (Rewari),Through the dated of posting as Extra Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, with his hard work and outstanding struggles, District Ambala stood first in the country for implementation of 20 Point Programme. He held the Control of Vice Chancellor, YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad in calculation for a period from April 2010 to March 2012. Also, he held the charge of Vice Chancellor, Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal two times for a retro from June 18, 2011 to June 26, 2011 and June 11, 2012 to June 20, 2012 respectively.
