In achievement of the directions allotted by the Best Court, MHRD and UGC on the issue of sexual nuisance in the workplace, the Women Cell has been set up under the leadership of Shri Mohinder Kumar, Hon'ble Viice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi University (IGU) Meerpur. The drive of the cell is to provide and uphold a exalted, congenial working situation for women workers including teaching, non-teaching and students, where they can work, study and discover their possible to the completest. It also aims to inspire, develop and distribute knowledge concerning role of women in the modern social context.
